Kevin Mansell, Chairman, President & CEO

Kevin Mansell, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kohl’s Department Stores, is responsible for Kohl’s long term growth and profitability along with strategic direction.

A 27-year veteran of Kohl’s Corporation, Mansell has held a number of progressive positions within the company. He joined Kohl’s in 1982 as a divisional merchandise manager and was promoted to general merchandise manager in 1987. Over the next nine years, his responsibilities expanded to include merchandise planning and allocation, as well as micromarketing. Mansell was promoted to senior executive vice president of merchandising and marketing in 1998. The following year, Mansell was named president and director. He was promoted to Kohl’s CEO in 2008 and named Chairman of the Board in 2009.

Mansell began his career in retail in 1975, joining the Venture Store division of May Department Stores, where he held a variety of positions in buying and merchandising. Mansell is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, where he attended the University of Missouri.

Donald A. Brennan, Chief Merchandising Officer

Donald A. Brennan, Chief Merchandising Officer, is responsible for oversight of all merchandising divisions, product development, merchandise planning and allocation, as well as e-commerce. Brennan joined Kohl’s in 2001 and has previously held positions as senior executive vice president, executive vice president, general merchandise manager; and as executive vice president, merchandise planning and allocation.

Brennan’s retail career began in 1982. Prior to his career with Kohl’s, Brennan was senior vice president, general merchandise manager, men’s and children’s apparel at Burdines, a division of Federated Department Stores. Brennan is a native of Illinois, and attended Marquette University.

John M. Worthington, Chief Administrative Officer

John M. Worthington, Chief Administrative Officer, is responsible for store operations, store administration, merchandise presentation, loss prevention, real estate, information services and purchasing. Worthington joined Kohl’s in 1993 and has previously held progressive store operations positions including senior executive vice president, executive vice president, director of stores; and senior vice president, territory director for the northeast region.

Prior to joining Kohl’s, Worthington held leadership positions with Famous-Barr, a division of the former May Department Stores Company. Worthington is a native of Utah, where he attended Utah Valley State College.

Peggy Eskenasi, Senior Executive Vice President

Peggy Eskenasi, Senior Executive Vice President, oversees all product development. Eskenasi was promoted to this role in 2010 after serving as executive vice president of product development since 2004.

Prior to joining Kohl’s in 2004, Eskenasi, a 32-year retail industry veteran, held progressive leadership positions with Saks Inc. and Frederick Atkins. Eskenasi is a native of New York, and attended State University of New York, Buffalo.

Wes McDonald, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Wes McDonald, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for financial planning and analysis, investor relations, financial reporting, accounting operations, tax, treasury, corporate governance, credit and capital investment. McDonald was promoted to this role in 2010 after serving as executive vice president and Chief Financial Officer since joining Kohl’s in 2003.

Prior to joining Kohl’s, McDonald, a 22-year retail industry veteran, held leadership positions with Abercrombie & Fitch and Target Corporation. McDonald is a native of Baltimore. He earned a master’s of business administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Bucknell University.
